Mariann Byerwalter
Chairman, JDN Corporate Advisory LLC

Mariann Byerwalter, Chairman of JDN Corporate Advisory LLC and former Special Advisor to the President and Chief Financial Officer of Stanford University, joined SRI's Board in 1998. Her broad business, finance and administrative responsibilities at Stanford included government cost and rate studies, business development and information technology systems and services.

Previously, Byerwalter served as CFO at Eurekabank, as a partner and co-founder of America First Financial Corporation and as Vice President of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development at Bank American Corporation. She is Chairman of the Board of Stanford Hospital and Clinics, and also serves on the board of directors of Burlington Capital Group, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, Pacific Life Insurance, Redwood Trust, SchwabFunds, and WageWorks. She is a trustee of Stanford University.

Byerwalter received the 1998 Financial Women of the Year Award from the Financial Women's Association of San Francisco. She holds a B.S. from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
