Cell and Molecular Imaging Services

SRI International provides clients with histology, morphology, microscopy, imaging and analysis functions for drug discovery and development projects. We have expertise to lead robust studies in cellular biology and experimental pathology. We provide independent, collaborative, and adjunct research and services in the following areas:

• Immunohistochemistry, cytochemistry, histology: Cell and tissue preparations processed for special stains, fluorescent dyes, protein localization.
• Light and laser microscopy: Low-light, high sensitivity image capture; confocal/multiphoton; quantitative and 3-D analysis
• Ultrastructure and morphology: Transmission and scanning electron microscopy; micrograph analysis and diagnostics; vascular corrosion-casts.
• Single-particle analysis: Fluorescence microscopy; low-angle, metal shadowing; negative staining; macromolecular topology.
• Membrane biology: Interference reflection and correlative microscopies; light and electron autoradiography
• Noninvasive Imaging in Rodents: Fluorescent, bioluminescent
