Advanced Secure Wireless Integrated Networks (ASWIN)
In this project for the Global Mobile Information Systems (GloMo) Program, SRI's objective is to support the timely and secure delivery of information to field forces using wireless networks. To this end, we are implementing FORTEZZA cryptographic techniques to provide security to both the information transported and the network routing itself. We have implemented IP header encryption to shield the network’s architecture, and have developed a new mechanism for efficient, real-time key generation and multicast key distribution. We also are implementing FORTEZZA cryptography in GloMo applications and CECOM testbeds.
