Cynthia Ford is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at SRI International. She leads SRI’s Information Technology (IT) Services group and is responsible for IT strategy for SRI’s data center, network, telecommunications, IT security, email, business systems, customer support, and library.

Ford has close to 30 years experience in IT. She began her career building accounting and financial systems and specialized testing software for a public utility. At SRI, she aligns technology direction with company business objectives, defines IT standards and technologies, and then manages projects based on both. She also focuses on providing highly available services and business continuity, and on the technologies that enable SRI teams to collaborate effectively across numerous geographic locations.

Ford holds bachelors and masters degrees from Southern Connecticut University and San Francisco State University respectively.
