on “Software: The Next Wave”
MENLO PARK, Calif. – July 27, 2004 – Dr.
Curtis R. Carlson, president and CEO of SRI International, will deliver
the keynote speech at the next Red Herring/ICC Innovation Series titled
“Software: The Next Wave.” In the six years Dr. Carlson has led
SRI, the independent nonprofit R&D organization has grown each year,
spun off several leading companies, and advanced its leadership and innovation
related to homeland and cyber security, education, health sciences and
communications. For the upcoming Red Herring/ICC event, Dr. Carlson
will speak regarding new market opportunities in software innovation and
the challenges facing the industry today.
In a sure-to-be-lively discussion held at the Girvan Institute of Technology,
Carlson and the other participants will offer insights into the
next wave of innovations and describe the challenges companies face
