Mission Statement
SRI International is committed to the continued development of supplier diversity that supports, fosters, and embraces the inclusion of small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, veteran-owned, disabled veteran-owned, HUB-zone area small businesses, Alaskan Native Corporations and Indian tribes, and Historically Black and Minority colleges and universities in SRI's subcontracting and procurement endeavors. The goal of supplier diversity is supported by SRI management.

This mission statement has been written to ensure that all SRI divisions understand the advantages to SRI's business successes in maintaining a diverse supplier base. SRI will continue to strive to insure that small businesses of all types are given fair consideration and opportunity to participate as subcontractors and suppliers whenever practicable.

SRI's goals for its small business program are:
To continue implementing a proactive small business program that assists small businesses in developing their attributes, strengths, capabilities, innovative ideas, and solutions in an effort to meet SRI's supplier diversity goals and objectives, and to continue to have small business participation be a successful part of SRI's procurement achievements.

To maintain supplier diversity that will play a major role as SRI continues to create innovations across multiple disciplines in science, engineering and policy. SRI's goal of providing the highest and most responsive levels of service to its customers and partners remains an important and continuing challenge, and the diversity of SRI's supplier base has an important role to play. Having a diverse and reliable supplier base of subcontractors, consultants and vendors that SRI collaborates with is important to support the large, complex research programs SRI is undertaking.
